ICAP Agent Checklist
Some things are worth repeating! We've linked an Agent Checklist for your review. Many of you are already following these 8 items…CRMS urges you to continue, and check out the reminders below.
At the 2022 Statewide Supervisors meeting in Des Moines, CRMS visited with more than 60 County Supervisors. We hear some great things Supervisors have to say about their agents... and then some not so great. Remember the following when servicing your County:
Reminder 1
Stay in contact on a regular basis – at minimum once every-two-months.
Reminder 2
Provide service to the Decision Makers. It’s important to have a great working relationship with the Auditor or Insurance Committee, but they are not the final decision makers.
Reminder 3
ICAP is a unique product! It’s imperative you as their agent, continue to educate the Board of Supervisors with ICAP’s/IMWCA’s unique benefits!
Reminder 4
Champion ICAP/IMWCA’s loss control and risk management policies and procedures. Both pools have resources that if purchased in the marketplace would easily exceed $30,000!
In addition, CRMS has a Independent Contractor Expenses handout that might be helpful.
Please contact your CRMS agent if you have any questions. We’re here to assist you!
